TENURE-TRACK/TENURED FACULTY POSITION
			  EXPERIMENTAL HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers (New Brunswick, NJ)
invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position in the area
of experimental particle physics at the level of assistant, associate or
full professor.  Our research program consists of the CDF and CMS
experiments at Fermilab and CERN, respectively, R&D efforts to develop
radiation-hard diamond detectors and the HiRes experiment in astroparticle
physics.  The department offers excellent infrastructure for experimental
research in the form of an electronics engineering group with radiation-hard
custom chip design expertise, a large machine shop and extensive computer
support.

Applicants for the position should have significant research experience and
demonstrated ability in both instrumentation and analysis.  The successful
candidate is expected to assume a leadership role in experimental particle
physics.  Applicants should be committed to excellence in undergraduate and
graduate education.
