The Department of Physics, Baylor University, invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level to begin by August, 2006. The successful candidates should hold the Ph.D. degree, be committed to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will be expected to direct graduate student research in a research program developed by the applicant. Current areas of departmental research include experimental and theoretical surface physics, experimental and theoretical astrophysics, experimental and theoretical dusty plasma physics, experimental atomic and molecular physics, elementary particle physics, early universe cosmology and string/M theory.
