An image manipulation program, ImageMagick, is
available on cdfsga.  It is launched with the
commands
  
    > setup ximagetools
    > setenv DISPLAY xxxxxx.yyyy.zzz:0        (as usual)
    > display <filename>

The Crop feature in the Pixel Transform menu allows cropping
of the figure.  The Annotate feature in the Image Edit menu allows text 
to be placed at various angles on the figure.   The Draw feature in the 
Image Edit menu allows lines to be drawn on the figure, and also allows
erasing (by drawing over with a box of the background color).
