At various times, people have following programs useful on cdfsga:

/usr/freeware/bin/gnuplot   A plotting program
/usr/freeware/bin/unzip     For uncompressing MS-DOS files (different than gzip)
/usr/freeware/bin/xftp      Graphical interface to ftp
/usr/freeware/bin/xv        Display of graphical images

These programs come via SGI, and please note the following:

Freeware products are not supported by Silicon Graphics or any of its 
support providers. The software contained in this package is made available 
through the generous efforts of their authors. Although they are interested 
in your feedback, they are under no obligation to address bugs, enhancements, 
or answer questions.
