If you like, you could create a plan file 

    $HOME/.plan

This file shows other people whatever information
you wish to share: for example your phone numbers,
your vacation days, and so on.

When other users issue the command
    > finger username@cdfsga.fnal.gov
from a UNIX system,

or they issue the command
    $ MULTINET FINGER username@cdfsga.fnal.gov
from a VAX system,

they will see the contents of your plan file.
