If your printout shows up with the name "MULTINET_LPD"
in the upper left (while for other people, their
name appears there):

then it is quite likely that your user name
has not been entered on the print server
fnprt.fnal.gov (an Alpha running VMS).

First, check this hypothesis by trying the command:
  > finger username@fnprt.fnal.gov
(where you replace username by your user name).

If your user name has not been entered on the
print server (as we suspect that it has not been)
then you will obtain the following message:
    ?Sorry, could not find "USERNAME"


Okay. Now to rectify the problem.  Please send mail to
   printer@fnal.gov
and request that your name be entered on the
print server.
