Features of UIPACK Version 2

The following major enhancements have been added in Version 2:-

1. Viewport Support (both Text and Graphics). Subprograms are available for defining and manipulating Viewports and for the display of Text within them.
2. Verb Parameters allow Qualifiers to be directly associated with a Verb or with a Parameter of the Verb, thus implementing positional Qualifiers.
3. All Prompted Input Subprograms may now be optionally used in Asynchronous Input Mode rather than just the Menu Subprograms and Verb Input Subprogram.
4. Input may be redirected temporarily to the keyboard from within a Command File, thus allowing run-time Operator Interaction.
5. Definition Files may now be nested.
6. The format of the Definition File has been extended to support Viewports and Verb Parameters.
7. The format of the Definition File has been extended to allow the UIPACK configuration (operation mode, echo enabled, output enabled etc.) to be setup.
8. Action Menu useage Subprograms have additional optional arguments whereby both the Verb portion of the response text and the corresponding Menu Button may be returned to the caller.
