Group Locking

As mentioned earlier, Verbs are associated with Groups, where only a single Group may be active at any one time. In a Multi-Programmer environment, where several people are working on modules to be merged into an overall program, it is possible that one person will attempt to add Verbs etc. to the same Group as another by mistake. This is especially true if they do not assign a free Group ID but assume fixed Groups. In order to prevent this, a Group may be ``Locked" such that all subsequent attempts to define more Verbs and Menus, or delete Verbs and Menus within the Group will be treated as illegal. A Password must be specified when Locking a Group, and the same Password must be specified for an attempt to unlock the Group to be satisfied. Note that already existing Menus within a Locked Group may still be modified.
