LOCK

This Command locks the current Verb Group and/or Viewport such that no associated Verbs or Qualifiers or Menus may be dropped etc.

Parameters

PASSWORD

Password. This is an Integer Non-Zero Number which must be specified in an UNLOCK Request in order for the Verb Group or Viewport to become unlocked.

Qualifiers

/GROUP

Specifies that the current Verb Group should be locked. This is in fact the default in the absence of any Qualifiers.

/VIEWPORT

Specifies that the current Viewport (as defined by the previous VIEWPORT Command) should be locked. This overrides the default of the current Group being Locked.

If it is desired that both the current Verb Group and Viewport be locked then both Qualifiers may be specified. Qualifiers may be attached either to the Keyword or to the Password and thus the following is legal:-
