MODE

This Command allows either or both of the UIPACK Operation Mode and Viewport Display Modes to be changed.

Parameters

MODE

New Operation/Viewport Mode. This may be one of the following:-

PROMPTED                Prompted Mode

SCROLL                  Scroll Mode

VIEWTEXT                Viewport/Text Mode

VIEWCURSOR              Viewport/Cursor Mode

GRAPHICS                Graphics Mode

Qualifiers

/OPERATION

Specifies that the current UIPACK Operation Mode should be modified. This is in fact the default in the absence of any Qualifiers.

/VIEWPORT

Specifies that the current Viewport Display Mode should be modified. This overrides the default of the current Operation Mode being modified.

If it is desired that both the current Operation Mode and Viewport Display Mode be modified then both Qualifiers may be specified. Qualifiers may be attached either to the Keyword or to the Mode and thus the following is legal:-
