Return Address Location of Argument

This Subprogram returns the Address or Location of the specified Argument (variable or Subprogram Name).

Short Name Calling Sequence

ADDRES = UIADDR(ITEM)

Long Name Calling Sequence

ADDRES = UI_ADDRESS(...)

ITEM (see notes) Item whose Location is desired

Output Arguments

None

Function Value

ADDRESS (Integer) Address of Item

Note:

1. The returned Address will be in machine-dependent units. On a VAX the Address is given in Bytes.
