Precision studies of the top quark are a prime goal of the Run II
physics program at the Fermilab Tevatron.  Since the start of Run II in
early 2002, the CDF and D0 experiments have analyzed approximately 100 pb-1
of data and have re-established the top quark signal.  In this article I
summarize recent measurements of the top production cross section and mass.
