inputs for sigma*BR measurement
- N(data) = 2345
- N(bgr total) = 613 +/- 61
- Acceptance*ID = (1.06 +/- 0.047(stat) +/- 0.043(syst) )%
- trigger efficiencies:
- L1: 0.881 +/- 0.005
- L3: 0.982 +/- 0.004
- luminosity: (72.0 +/- 4.3) pb^-1
Summary of the uncertainties
statistical uncertainty: 2.8%, it is defined as
sigma(stat) = sqrt(N_data))/(N_data-N_bgr)
total systematic uncertainty is 7.9%, it breaks down as follows:
- background subtraction: 3.5%
- acceptance :
- PDF's : 2.0%
- uncertainty of the monojet cut: 2.6%
- Z(vertex) cut : 0.5%
- tau ID efficiency: 4.7%(stat) plus 4.3%(syst).
- To estimate tau ID efficiency we applied "tau embedding"
technique to the sample of central Z->ee events. Statistics
of the Z->ee sample was limiting factor in this procedure
- hadron calorimeter scale: 3%
- trigger efficiency (L1+L3): 0.7%
