ΔR between the two leading jets for events with MJJ< 155 GeV or MJj > 175 GeV
A reweighting is derived from the sample and applied to the events in the "excess" region. The resulting MJJ from this reweighted sample is shown below. The significance of the excess is 2.2 σ
