Search for a Narrow Z' Resonance Decaying to top quark pairs in CDF The top quark is the most massive particle yet discovered. While the Tevatron remains on the energy frontier, much work is being done to understand the nature of the this peculiarly massive quark, and to look for signs of new physics that either couple to the top or mimick the top within the high pT top quark samples. CDF has searched for signs of a massive resonance decaying to top-antitop pairs in $700$ pb$^{-1}$ of $p\bar{p}$ collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV, and has set the strongest limits on a heavy Z' boson decaying to t-tbar.
