Mixing and Tagger Performance in Semileptonic B Decays with ~1fb-1

This is the web page summarizing the results of the B0 mixing analysis and tagger performance in semileptonic B decays with ~1fb-1 data Sample. These results have been produced for FPCP2006 conference as a part of the CDF ongoing effort in the Bs mixing analysis. 

The overall opposite side tagging performance measured on this sample is:

ε D2 = 1.54 ± 0.05 %

The B0 mixing frequency is:

Δ md = 0.509 ± 0.010 ± 0.016 ps-1

This analysis is described in CDF note 8235.

The new analysis supersedes previous analyzes applying opposite-side taggers. One analysis using a binned likelihood fitter and applying both OST and SST tagging algorithms was performed in summer 04. A second analysis involving expanded data sets and improved techniques was performed in October 05.
