/\b Lifetime in /\b → J/&psi /\0
This web page summarizes the results for the measurement
of the /\b Lifetime in /\b → J/&psi /\, based upon 1.0 fb-1 of
data.
These preliminary results supersede the previous measurements using
65 pb-1
and
370 pb-1
We include results in our control sample B0→ J/&psi K0s.
We measure
&tau(B0) = 1.524 ± 0.030 (stat.) ± 0.016 (syst.) ps
&tau(/\b) = 1.593 +0.083-0.078(stat.) ± 0.033 (syst.) ps
Using our measurement of the /\b lifetime and the PDG 2004 world average B0 lifetime, we obtain
&tau(/\b)/&tau(B0) = 1.037 ± 0.058
