Measurement of Exclusive B Lifetime in the modes B+ → J/&psi K+, B0 → J/&psi K*0, B0 → J/&psi K0s, B0s → J/&psi &phi and /\b → J/&psi /\, and measurement of the B+/B0, B0s/B0 and /\b/B0 lifetime ratios

Measurement of Exclusive B Lifetime in the modes B⁺ → J/&psi K⁺, B⁰ → J/&psi K^*0, B⁰ → J/&psi K⁰_s, B⁰_s → J/&psi &phi and /\b → J/&psi /\, and measurement of the B⁺/B⁰, B⁰_s/B⁰ and /\_b/B⁰ lifetime ratios

This web page summarizes the results for the measurement of the above B hadron's lifetimes performed using the above exclusive J/&psi decay channels, based upon 1 fb^-1 of data.
The results have been approved as of November 30, 2006.
This result supersedes the previous measurement performed with 195 pb^-1, the previous measurement performed with 240 pb^-1 and the previous measurement performed with 1fb^-1.

We measure:

&tau(B⁺) = 1.630 ± 0.016(stat.) ± 0.011 (syst.) ps

&tau(B⁰) = 1.551 ± 0.019(stat.) ± 0.011 (syst.) ps

&tau(B⁰_s) = 1.494 ± 0.054(stat.) ± 0.009 (syst.) ps

&tau(/\_b) = 1.580 ± 0.077 (stat.) ± 0.012 (syst.) ps

&tau(B⁺)/&tau(B⁰) = 1.051 ± 0.023 ± 0.004 (syst.)
&tau(B⁰_s)/&tau(B⁰) = 0.963 ± 0.047 ± 0.005 (syst.)
&tau(/\_b)/&tau(B⁰) = 1.018 ± 0.062 ± 0.007 (syst.)
