Combination of D0 and CDF results on ΔΓs and the CP-violating
phase βsJ/ψφ
This webpage summarizes the blessed result of combination of D0 and CDF
results on ΔΓs and the CP-violating phase
βsJ/ψφ using 2.8 fb-1 data.
This result is described in this public note
We present 68%, 95% and 99% confidence regions
in the βsJ/ψφ-ΔΓs plane:

Assuming the standard model predictions of
βsJ/ψφ and ΔΓs, the
probability of a deviation as large as the level of the observed data
is 3.4%, corresponding to 2.12 Gaussian standard deviations.
Additionally, we present a confidence
interval of βsJ/ψφ, where
ΔΓs is treated as a nuisance
parameter, and find that βsJ/ψφ is
within [0.27, 0.59] U [0.97, 1.30] at the 68% CL
and within [0.10, 1.42] at 95% CL. In this projection, the p-value for
the Standard Model point is 2.0% or 2.33 Gaussian standard deviations.
