A Search For ZH→l⁺l^-bb
in 9.45/fb of CDF II Data

As a cross-check of our analysis methods, the ZH search has been recast as a search for WZ and ZZ production, as part of the wider CDF and Tevatron diboson searches. Details of these searches are available here and here. Below we detail the modifications made to transform the ZH analysis into a diboson search.

Changes To The Expert Discriminants

To accomodate a search for ZZ/WZ production, we have replaced the diboson expert network used in the ZH analysis with an expert designed to isolate diboson processes from Z+bb. The output of this expert discriminant is shown below.

Changes To The Final Discriminants

Similarly we train a discriminant to separate WZ and ZZ from backgrounds. The output of this discriminant is shown below.
