Diffractive Structure Function from DiJets

CDF Collaboration
Proposed Speaker: Dino Goulianos
Abstract
The p pbar data at sqrt(s)=1800 GeV taken with the CDF detector including a Roman Pot tracking system are used to determine the diffractive structure of the proton. Comparison with the diffractive structure measured in deep-inelastic scattering by the H1 Collaboration indicates a breakdown of factorization. The results from events with rapidity-gaps on both the proton and anti-proton sides (double Pomeron exchange) are also presented.
