CompHEP - a package for automatic computation of cross sections and distributions, and event generation in the framework of SM and its extensions.
Abstract:
At present time when a new generation of TeV energy colliders is beginning to operate one needs to calculate cross sections for a great number of various reactions. The CompHEP package was created for calculation of multiparticle final states in collision and decay processes. The main idea in CompHEP is to enable one to go directly from the Lagrangian to the cross sections and distributions effectively, with a high level of automation.

New options were created in current v.41:
  • automatic generation of color flows for events
  • new effective event generation at partonic level
  • MSSM and some other SUSY models
  • interface CompHEP-PYTHIA for arbitrary processes with multiparticle final states.
The PEVLIB, tools and library of events/generators at partonic level for LHC processes, are described. For details, look at pages 108-115 in the Les Houches Summary.
