Abstract
We present a measurement
of the strong coupling constant, alpha_s,
extracted from inclusive jet
production in ppbar collisions at 1.8 TeV.
The "running" of alpha_s is tested over the jet transverse energy
range from 40 to 450 GeV.
The average value at the mass of the Z^0 boson
is found to be alpha_s(M_Z)=
0.1129 \pm 0.0001(stat)+0.0078-0.0089(exp.syst).
The associated theoretical uncertainties are mainly due to the choice of
renormalization scale (5%) and input parton distribution functions (5%).
