| The figure above shows the Run 2 data on the average transverse energy of the "matching" calorimeter jet (JetClu, R = 0.7) as a function of the transverse momentum of the leading "charged particle jet". The "matching" jet is the closest "calorimeter jet" in eta-phi space to the leading "charged particle jet" and is required to be within R = 0.7. On the average, the "matching" calorimeter jet has nearly the same ET as the charged particle jet. This can be seen more clearly in the figure below which shows the average ratio of the transverse momentum of the leading "charged particle jet" to the transverse energy of the "matching" calorimeter jet (JetClu, R = 0.7) as a function of the transverse momentum of the leading "charged particle jet". | ||||

| The figure below shows the distribution of z = PT(chgjet1)/ET(matching jet) for the region 70 < PT(chgjet1) < 95 GeV/c. | ||||

| The figure below shows the average electromagnetic fraction carried by the "matching" calorimeter jet (JetClu, R = 0.7) compared with the electromagnetic fraction of a typical leading "calorimeter jet" (JetClu, R = 0.7). | ||||
