CDF Combined Top Mass for Spring 2006

Abstract:

We summarize the CDF measurements of the top quark mass, Mt, based on data sets including as much as 750 pb-1 of data. We combine the most recent preliminary Run-II results with the published Run-I results to obtain, Mt = 172.4 +/- 1.5 (stat) +/- 2.2 (syst) GeV/c2, which corresponds to a total uncertainty of 2.6 GeV/c2 and a relative uncertainty of 1.5%.
