In this paper we describe a Neural Network technique for single top identification. Using a sample of 64 W + 1,2,3 jets events from Run I, the fit to the Neural Network output yields a signal content of 23.6 +/- 7.7 events, roughly 2.5 standard deviations away from the expected value of 4.2 events. Based on this result, we calculate an a posteriori Run I upper limit on single top production cross section of 24.4 pb. Besides updating our previous Run I result, this thesis also incorporates the a priori study of Run I single top production presented in CDF 5741.
