On the following page the CDF Hazard Assemssment for the Time-of-Flight system is documented.

Mechanical Hazards

  The cost of several subsystems is over $100k.

Flamable Gas Hazard

  none

Electrical Hazard

  ADMEM boards, CAFE cards, transisiton boards, TOFFEE cards,
  pre-amplifiers and Photo Multiplier Tube bases are non commercial
  design.

  ADMEM boards and CAFE cards are standard CDF modules, all other
  modules are specifically designed for the Time-of-Flight system.

Fire Hazard

  The scintillator bars and the cabeling are large combustible items.

  The scintillator bars are interspersed with aluminium shims and
  wrapped in units of three in marble guard foil.

Oxygen Deficiency Hazard

  none

Laser Hazard

  The calibration system makes use of a Nitrogen laser.

Radiation Hazard

  None
