The Time of Flight detector is used to precisely measure the time a particle needs to travel from the interaction point to the time of flight detector. The project is a collaborative effort of several Institutes and Labs.

The Time of Flight project has been Stage I approved in January 1999, by the PAC and the Fermilab director. In June, 1999 CDF has asked the PAC for Stage II approval for this project. Visit our documentation page. for further more detailed information.
