Module Repair Summary
version 0.8, John Yoh, 1/3/02
"Module Repair Summary" is a new form written by Linus Wong in the summer
of 2000, which will summarize all units of a particular module type, such
as Tracer of Admem. You can specify a "snap-shot" of the situation for
up to 6 specified time--or choose quarterly or semesterly dates for the
past n (n can be choosen) times. The report will show the number --total,
total in position, working spare, in repair, etc, as well as the most
repaired unit (though some repairs are actually test of the db).
To access this form,
- either click
Here
or go to "Database reports" -->Misweb/Production -->click on "Module repair
Summary" (4th line of text from top)
- Enter the module type (you can use the wild card %--such as %tracer
or %admem)
- Either specify the exact date you are interested in , or choose
quarterly/semesterly for any number of previous occasions
- If you wish, you can unclick items you don't want; Click submit query
- You will get the report--you can click on one of the 5 most-repaired units
if desired
Warning :
- Quite a few of the "Most repaired units" are actually okay--
many of the so-called repairs are actually people testing the cdfdb.
So, the frequency of repairs are actually overreported.
- Note that only one particular module type will be summarized--so
you can not summarize in one report several related types. Note also that
if you use the wild card %, it will just give you the first module type
that fits that specification
