Tape export from FCC
Each institution is encouraged to make an estimate at what
data they will want to copy from Fermilab to offsite.
Please send your idea to the
ICRH list
or just to
myself.
I will collect the data, summarise the requests and report them to
CD Networking group and CDF Offline Management so that both
tape copies and network copies needs can be taken into
account.
A tape export facility with limited capability (about 10 tapes/day)
is currently planned at FCC for CDF. This is being delayed by
lack of manpower for the user interface, estimated in 3 months of
one physicist, to be counted as service work toward authorship.
