Status of Muon Modules
Prem Singh discussed plans for muon reconstruction. He is porting
the stub-finding modules into the Run 2 framework, as well as the
stub-track linking module. Jim Bellinger is working on a new IMU
stub finding module. The stub modules will be revised for Run 2,
but CMLNK will be rewritten, sharing geometry and trajectory tools
with the new simulation.
Status of Silicon Bank creation
Joe Boudreau has written code to read Silicon D banks, and also
create them and add digitized hits. He has tested this code with
test patterns, and read D banks with test patterns into his
visualization package. He has also set up tools for timing
studies. Ping Yeh has these tools and will use them to create
D banks from the new simulation. Similar work will be done for
the COTD bank.
Status of Electron/Photon Modules
Bob Wagner discussed plans for electron/photon reconstruction.
Stpana has been ported to the Run 2 framework by Liz S-K, and
Bob is doing the same for Emclst and Elctrn. Bob is currently
rewriting Emclst. It would help to have additional people for
shower max reconstruction and simulation.
