The meeting was held via speaker phone. VRVS was not available due to the FNAL power outage and the VRVS server was not reset in time. 1. Distribution of the modules Only modules identified as internal work and necessary interface modules are assigned. For those unassigned modules we will create dummy ones while testing code. Reconstructor : Tony, Yen-Chu Coordinator : Ping, Miroslav Dispatcher : Yen-Chu Collector : Tony, Steve BookKeeper : Paoti, Yen-Chu DatabaseRetriever : Yen-Chu, Steve Catalog Interface : Ping At June 15 we should have spec. of these modules. By middle of July, we should finish coding of them. Tentative plan of code developing, Middle July : V 1.0 Oct. 1 : V 1.1 for M.D.C. 1 (Mock Data Challenge, phase 1) Feb. 2000 : V 2.0 for M.D.C. 2 Apr. 2000 : V 3.0 for RUN II 2. Von Ruden Review Tony is assigned to give talk at the Von Ruden Review. It is at June 9, and a talk of 20 minutes. Details of the talk will be planned later but it will consist our WBS, hardware test, working with FCC, DH group, ... There will be practice talk at June 3. 3. Next meeting time June 8, '99, 8:00 AM (FNAL) 4. Discussion of PERL and PYTHON It is mentioned that PERL is more generally used and is well developed. PERL is also probably easier to debug. D0 is using PYTHON. More exploring will be done in the near future so that we will make our final decision on which to chose. Yen-Chu will prepare a list of items to compare these two languages.
