    The only change in V03-04-20 relative to V03-04-19 is to remove a
redefinition of a default argument value which GNU C++ did not warn about (it
should have), but the KAI C++ compiler did.  This redefinition was due to a
copy/paste mistake on my part, and does not affect user code.
