NEWS:
During the last few weeks we had some high beam losses and quenches.
Since the Beamline tuner malfunctioned so we they had to inject 8 Gev
Beam manually.
ICICLE:
Margherita said the CLC pressure monitoring tag stored in the Oracle database
was a wrong one. Steve said some of the lost information could be recovered
through Bill Noe's backup files. He also said Richard Schmitt is going to send
us an example code for retrieving raw data from historian.
This code was developed in a Soudan experiment.
Recently, the Icicle is crashing quite often. Margherita said she will be
working to improve the logfile for the diagnostic purpose.
SVX:
Andy said the SVX group is debating if the newly developed interlock system
should replace the old one. Since the old one is working pretty well it's
not easy to decide to go to one way or the other.
CENTRAL CAL:
Irina worries about Nicolay's departure and lack of manpower for the central
calorimeter. Steve said Fotis can help her out
on the calibration efforts.
VOLTMAN:
John said the Tufts group is going to replace Dan Ryan with a postdoc.
