Monitoring Controls System meeting on April 26, 2005

News:

Welcome to Ulrich to the MCS group. He is working for Rochester and replacing Andy Hocker for the SVX system. We had some trouble with the recycler over the weekend. An access of 2 shifts were planned for the fix during the week.

    • Status Panel:

    Steve said the frequent error messages on the Status Panel ,'E1212...' have to do with polling rate. It could not handle the rate and resulted in errors. Since we slowed down the polling rate, the errors disappeared.

    ICICLE:

    The Oracle database for the PSM system looks suspicous. The snapshot data, which was taken every hour, looks identical for some variables for over some period of time - we do not expect this. Steve is looking into the issue.

    MUON3:

    Yeongdae said he is working with the Visual studio. He said he will be trying to compile the HVMon excutables on the next week.

    SVXIICON:

    The SVXIICON freezes every month of so for some unknown reasons. Urlich is looking into the problem.
