NEWS:
We are not going to have the October shutdown. There will be a review to decide on the shutdown date sometime on December. January is chosen tentatively instead. The director announced that the new goal is to achieve 4.0*10**31 by 1st of October.

iFIX Upgade:
According to the Larry Kirsch's e-mail on iFIX upgrade, there are some issues unanswered for the new versions. We can not commit anything until all the issues are cleared. We will test out the new iFIX verion, 2.6 - we chose the version 2.6 since it has been out in the market long enough and known to be stable. This test will allow us to estimate resources and time required for this switch.

                   Testings to do.
                   ---------------

EDA: Andy volunteered to test out EDA toolkit.

APAX: A PC in cryo area with APAX will be used for this test.

TI: Andy has a pc in the SiDet with hardware for testing TI driver.

Pictures: Jim will try them out in his pc.

CAEN: The space pc, iFIXTEST will be used for this study.

Coexistence: The older version supposed to be running with the new version
as long as we are careful with the pictures. If this is true,
it would make the upgrade much easier. We need to test it out.

Keys: We need to purchase 4 keys for these studies.

TI:
The Muon HV trigger inhibit split should move on. Yeongdae needs to modify the HVMON for this change. Steve will take care of the APAX part and tags in Server 2. Margherita needs to modify ICICLE. JC will work on the TI main page.

Vnode:
The heart beat checking time intervals for the SVX and the Plug HV are reduced to 3 and 8 minutes respectively.
