NEWS:
There was a biggest quench ever in Tevatron last week. A CDF Tokyo pot
hit the limit switch and retracted. During the retraction, it hit beam
and caused a severe damage on C19 correction magnets. They are replacing
spool pieces now. The beam will be back on Tueday next week.
DOCUMENTATION:
John wants ACE's spend time to go through MCS instructions. Their comments
will be reviewed OP managers and system experts. Steve suggested a 'Fix List'
on webpage.
MUON:
Yeongdae said he still need to work on trigger inhibit. He also said he
attempted but could not continue to work on the HV feedback system since
he could not compile HVMON correctly. We think the Xenon flash work might
interfered with HVMON in compilation configuration.
PSM:
Dan said the history output files fill up the hard disk once a month or so.
He need to move them by hand over to his local computer. Steve suggested
to put them in S drive after zip them up. This way we will have the files
in public domain.
