Monitoring Controls System meeting on February 3, 2004

Attendance:
Steve Hahn, Yeongdae Shon, Irina Shreyber, Margherita Vittone, John Yoh, JC Yun

NEWS:
On Monday we had a record luminosity, 5.9*10**31, with 90% efficiency. Somehow losts are low by x10 at the similar instataneous luminosity. This January is the best month in delivered luminosity ever. Some people attribute this feat to the alignment work on magnets during the shutdown.

Steve said Randy Keup had a job interview at FNAL. Hopefully he gets the job and help us out the MUON system.

DOCUMENTATION:
Steve updated an instruction for CDFGBAlarms and CDFHVSummary pages. A nice feature in it is that if you move the cursor into the picuture of CDFHVSummary page, it changes to stand-by mode.

MUON3:
Yeongdae wants to upate CAEN interface card with PCI slot in near future. The old SY127 interface card requires obsolete ISA slots.

PLUG:
Margherita said Luciana wants to update some codes for the trigger inhibit. Since beam is doing well at the moment we need to wait for a while for any down time.

ICICLE:
Morris Binkley requested Margherita to work on the time stamp problems in oracle data base. Apparently there are some inconsistencies of the time stamps in the COT data. He wants to use the Icicle data to diagnose the COT HV problems.
