NEWS:
We expect the access will be more restrictive starting on the Friday. The first collision is scheduled on Feburary 11.

iFIX UPGRADE:
All the servers, S1 to S5, and SOL2 are now upgraded and running on the new iFIX version 3.0. We are a couple of days behind in schedule. A few the problems caused the delay. First, the Pentium II machines were very slow with iFix 3.0. This caused a lot of confusion. However, in retrospect, this problems turned out to be not so critical. The other problem was due to a bad CD ROM driver. So far the new version coexits with the old version without too much trouble.

MUON3:
Yeongdae tried to figure out the known problem, which causes trigger inhibit right after HV was recovered after trip. According to his explanation this was due to the fact that software trip signal occurs after hardware trip was fully recovered. Please see more details in his transparancies.

  • Yeongdae's transparancies.
  • TRIGGER INHIBIT:
Software trigger inhibits for the systems, PLUG and CLC need to be installed. Luciana is working on PLUG. We do not have information on CLC.
