Attendance:

NEWS:
The shutdown starts on January 13 (Monday) and will last until the end of the month. The iFix upgrades will be made for the first 12 days. Power outages are scheduled on 13th and 17th. Since we will have a new batch of aces this week we may have to watch subsystems more closely.

UPGRADE:
Steve showed several plots on the iFix upgrade. One of his trasparancy is about iFix upgrade schedule for each subsystem - please check out your own system !!!. He also included a transparancy with some scope plots of the PSM readout. There are some strange things going on at first floor power supply readout.

One of his transparacy is on the alarm information at the CDFGbAlarms page. We discussed about some of the definitions. The total number(Monitored) includes 'masked' and 'alarm'. The 'alarm' does not include the 'masked'. We still need to define better on some other criteria. Margherita suggested we used the 'tool tip' option to show limits when the cursor moves to the spot.'

  • Steve's transparacies on the iFIX Software upgrade.
  • Andy reiterated the possible problems of importing and exporting iFix databases. He said he saw a warning message which has to do with alarm during export. Jim volunteered to look into it.

    MUON3:
Yeongdae said the CES-CPR cross talk problem was due to a typo. The shift crew reported that a CES button controls a CPR channel and vice versa a month ago. He fixed it by changing the HVMON code. Now he is looking into Trigger Inhibit probems. Some times trigger inhibit occurs right after ramping the chambers.
