Monitoring Controls System meeting on June 28, 2005

News:

Last week the accelerator division had a celebration party for deliverying 1 fb-1. The integrated luminosity accumulated during the first 6 months of this year is as much as the luminosity accumulated over the span of 3 previous years.

ICICLE:

Margherita said her group (database application group) is now being dismantled and she will be joining Steve White's Run II group. The CP2 tags are still not implemented. There are 32 (8 ch x 4 variables ) tags to be created.

MUON3:

Yeongdae said he successfully recompiled with a Demo version. However, he could not succeeded when he tried the real one. This is because the drivers for Windows XP is 'plug and play'. He said he will talk to Andy for suggestions.

SVXIICON:

Ulrich said the SVXIICON computer crashes once per month. The error message says 'Memory Allocation Error'. He was wondering if others encountered similar problems and found any solutions. We see similar problems with Vnode1 and other computers. He was advised to reboot the computer once per three weeks or so to prevent these kind of problems.
