NEWS:
The ground fault problem at one of the 6 magnets forced a week shut down.
They can not narrowed it down until the magnets are warmed up.
The earlist shot setup estimate is on Sunday.
PLUG:
Since we failed to upgrade the iFix at the CDFEPHV, we tried to go back to
the old version. We could not make it work either. There was a missing
library and we could not compile the code. Shift crews had to control HV
manually for several days. This problem was solved after Mark installed a
Visual C++ studio version 6 and recompiled with the old iFix version.
SYSTEM:
Steve summarized his view of the CDF iFix system for long term and also for
short term. Please look into this.
