Minutes of Monitoring Controls System meeting on March 21, 2006

News:

Please look into the Steve's slides . This slides include detailed information on the shutdown progress of the MCS work.

System:

Norton Ghost backup on second disk works well. Recently we recovered a Voltman disk using it. The critical systems, which includes most of the cryo area PC's, are hooked up to UPS system and Diesel backup powers. During the shutdown, the power backup system proved to be effective.

Muon3:

Yeongdae said he has to modify HVMON to make it run locally during the iFix V4.0 upgrade. He also said he can run iFix in VMworks environment in his laptop without an iFix key. This development mode can last 2 hours.
