Monitoring Controls System meeting on March 2, 2004


Attendance:

NEWS:
The shutdown date is set to fix the Helium leak problems. It will start on March 15 for 10 days. During the last week, the COT group reversed gas flow and increased flow rate (30-40%) to study ageing. During the shutdown the COT group will work on the chamber face to pull out a wire plane.

ICICLE:
Magherita said she is thinking about writing a script in C++ or Java to get data directly rather than going through Larry's browser. The Icicle is still crashing once in a while.

PLUG:
Luciana can work on the PLUG trigger inhibits during the shutdown without intefering with data taking.
