Minutes of Monitoring Controls System meeting on May 23, 2006

Attendance:

Daniele De Pedis, Steve Hahn, Yeongdae Shon, Irina Shreyber, John Yoh, JC Yun

News:

Since the first collision is expected on June 16, we will have the MCS meetings more frenquently for a while.

SYSTEM:

We have a few visible problems on CDFGbAlarms page. First, COT gives heartbeat error and PHA turns red briefly once in a while. We also have to remove the MNP botton from the page since MNP is decommissioned.

TOF:

Daniele said he will leave a CD with softwares for TOF system. He will ask Mark to install VNC softwares on TOF for remote access. He said the opto-isolator seems working. He encountered no problems after the installation.

MUON3:

Yeongdae made MUON3 working. There are some error messages but he can ignore it. He thinks it is related to alarm area mismatch. He said he will work on the fast trigger inhibit after removing CCR/CPR system from MUON3 machine.
