- To obtain the conversion utility for converting FIX 6.15 pictures to FIX Dynamics 2.0
format as well as the Tag Group Editor for FD 2.0, see:
http://www.intellution.com/products/fixdynamics/
- There are also new dynamos for FIX Dynamics at:

- Please update with all relevant Software Improvement Modules (SIM's) for FD 2.0 at: (One
crucial fix is to enable SQL for the keys that we have purchased)

- Do not add SIMS for features or add-ons that we don't have, i.e., we don't have the BTK
toolkit. A complete set of SIMs is available at my ftp site as well as an ftp client that
runs on NT and allows you to fetch multiple folders and files.

- Or if you have an account on cdfsga, you can point your favorite ftp client to
ftp://cdfsga.fnal.gov/cdf/www/internal/upgrades/controls/MonitoringSystemStuff/
- Note: Do not set up global color or threshold tables until we have resolved the
issue of sharing the user.fxg file on the server. However, it is fine to set up tag
groups.
- All picture names should be prefixed with the three letter designation for your
detector. This should also apply to any *.tge files that you create. The list so far is:
COT
CLC
PEM
PHA
CEM,CHA
CES,CPR,CCR
CMU,CMP,CMX,IMU
CSP,CSX,IMU
SVX

- Press the Change button
- Press the OK button
- Select "Save" from the file menu

iFIX 2.2
This is the latest version of FIX and we should all upgrade to this version.
If you haven't and you need a copy, please see Sam
Segler.
There is a patch to update this version to iFIX 2.21 that fixes several bugs.
It can be found in the Dynamics folder on the S drive on the nt server. You
should apply this fix to your installation of iFIX 2.2 if you haven't already
done so.
iFIX and Windows 2000
The current version of iFIX, 2.21, is not yet compatible with Windows 2000.
This issue will be addressed in an upgrade due out this summer. This comes too
late for CDF to consider going to Win 2k for the upcoming run. This decision can
be revisited in the future when there is a stable version of iFIX for Windows
2k. There may also be issues with NT 4 drivers that we are using not being
compatible with Windows 2k.
