Monitoring Controls System meeting on October 19, 2004

NEWS:
The shutdown is on schedule so far. The target date for the end of the shutdown is still on November 22.

Please look into Steve's transparancies for upgrade status.

    Please look into Andy's transparancies for TI upgrade for the Siemens PLC.

  • Andy's transparancy.

    • TOF:
    TOF needs a software driver for the CAEN PCI card. However there is a way to get around this problem. By switching from Visual Basic to Visual C++, the driver is not necessary. Daniele is thinking about this option. Yeongdae said he would help him in case he choose to do so.

    Also Andy promised to help Daniele for the code on block writing. This is to make the code much faster. At the moment each tag is written one at a time.
