Level-3 Validation Procedure

Data samples
- Directory : fcdflnx3 /cdf/scratch/level3/validate_output/
- Subdirectories for various samples (let's call xxx)
  - xxx = d0, electron, jet, jpsi, muon photon
- step 1: initial samples (taken with 4.3.0 L3 executable)
- step 2: remove all reconstructed objects
  - d0kpi_streamA.raw
- step 3: convert them to YBOS (Levev3input module reads only YBOS)
- step 4: run a new L3 executable with a new trigger table on YBOS files: e.g.
  - trigger table : L3_TEST_471_v1
  - tcl file : /cdf/scratch/level3/validate_output/d0/current_tcl/L3exe+600.tcl
- step 5: input files for validators
  - d0kpi_streamA.raw.reproc
  - d0kpi_streamA.raw.reproc_1
Validation by the Level-3 group
- compare # of events between step 1 and step 5.
- check the results by removing independent trigger paths.
Validation by the Physics group
- check the L3 reconstructed variables in step-5 files.
- compare the L3 reconstructed variables between step-1 files and step-5 files.
