MERGER PROGRAMMING
These instructions are for experts in case of a need to re-program the
Merger boards. Only to be used if Anna Maria is not around.
Send a mail to Anna Maria Zanetti if you re-program a board.
If you'll swap too many boards a configuration of the mergers as should
be installed in Fermilab crates is in
here

The programming files can be found on the FERMI Windows system in:

TO PROGRAM THE MERGER:
There are three JTAG connectors on the component side of the board to
program
the five Altera chips (look at the serigraphie or to the image below to
know which is which):
- a single chip (multi-device Jtag chain disabled):
- two JTAG chains (multi-device Jtag chain enabled and Setup the
JTAG chain):

- arbitpar.pof
outspy.pof
