XTF-C task:

INJECT L00 HITS IN SVT

It is achieved inserting 6 XTF-C boards after the standard SVT fanout system (XTF-A/XTF-B)

Current plan:
Use a re-programmed Merger to realize XTF-C
Present design:

INPUTS:

first 30 degree slice from XTF-B (CTC data)
second 30 degree slice from XTF-B (CTC data)
60 degree slice from HF (L00 data)
a selected part of the next 60 degree slice from the adjacent HF (L00 data)

OUTPUTS:

first 30 degree L00 & CTC data
second 30 degree L00 & CTC data

STATUS

Board production:

The board delivery is expected for mid-February

Chip programming:

Work on the new altera programming:

Started on the chip that handles the inputs (the one that require more work + could show up some limitations on what we can do)
Still to begin: output chip and VME chip (small modifications foreseen)

I'm planning to have the first versions of the new chips ready when the boards will be received.
